Change The Nicotine age from 21 back to 18

Change The Nicotine age from 21 back to 18
The Issue
The age of 18 is a symbol of entering adult hood, making your own decisions and beginning your life overall. It’s a time when you as an individual are able to vote, join the United States military, and even go out into the world on your own. The United States Congress made the decision back in December, 2019, to change the nicotine age from 18 to 21.
At the age of 17 in the United States, with parent permission, you are allowed to join a branch of the Military and wield a firearm. At the age of 18, you can make your OWN choice to go into the military and wield a firearm. At the age of 18, you are legally allowed to vote and participate in electing the next U.S. President. At the age of 16 in Georgia, you are legally allowed to give consent. At the age of 18 in the U.S. you cannot go into a gas station and purchase any product that contains nicotine.
I personally believe that it is unfair for a 17-18 year old to be able to go into the military, wield a firearm and serve their country with the possibility of dying for our country, but cannot purchase nicotine products. We are adults, we are making our own decisions in life, we are capable of making choices in our life. It should be OUR decision on what we do with our bodies when we legally become an adult.
Make the change now and give us back our right to do what we wish with our bodies as legal adults.
