Thank You!

Many thanks to those of you who signed the petition to abolish presidential pardons. I understand there may be valid reasons to pardon people convicted of federal offenses, but the sheer number of pardons over the years including Roger Stone's don't pass the smell test. At a time when there's great concern for equal justice under the law, it only makes sense that there be equal punishment under the law as well. The founding fathers may have had valid reasons for including this provision in the U.S. Constitution, but never in their wildest imagination would our presidents collectively grant tens of thousands.
