Now you can use this petition to engage your representatives

Thank you to every one of you who has signed this petition, I am blown away, but not surprised by all of the open hearts that want positivity and action to help put out these fires and save lives, both animal and human. 
I started this petition out of a painful heart for all of the suffering and devastation being reported,  and feelings of frustration with my government that we seemingly weren’t doing the right thing by our friends by extending help. I have since discovered  that we have sent 100 firefighters to help , according to the la times. Yay us. (It seems underreported on to me ) Is this enough? Are we doing all we can? 
This petition now has a significant amount of signatures and should be used as a powerful tool to engage your state’s officials and to let them know that we want them talking about this. We want them representing us by doing EVERYTHING we can and helping to save lives . SAVE lives. ACT. Send as much aid as we possibly can. And do it NOW.
