Dear Supporters,
We found a beautiful way to submit complaints to NHTSA for a specific vehicle, the 2024 Ford F-150. NHTSA has a webform for submitting safety complaints.
The first step of the form requires a VIN. Enter: 1FTFW3L83RKF16740
This VIN is for a 2024 Ford F-150. In the remaining steps, you can submit any complaint you want about LED headlights and you can even upload a photo of a glare bomb, if you wish. Enter your contact information as well. Once you provide your submission, you will get an email from NHTSA with a tracking number, stating "Every complaint is taken seriously, reviewed in detail and analyzed for defects trends. Your complaint is important because it helps to inform NHTSA, other vehicle owners and manufacturers about potential safety concerns. Such information helps save lives..."
If thousands of us submit reports for this same VIN, NHTSA may either act in bad faith and scrub our submissions, our NHTSA could actually wake up and direct Ford to open an investigation into their headlights. No matter what happens, we will end up with tracking numbers and publicly documented complaints that we can leverage later.
Sincerely,
Mark Baker
