Dear Supporters,
NOTUS is a Washington publication from the nonprofit, nonpartisan Allbritton Journalism Institute and Reporter Emily Kennard wrote a story about our efforts to solve the LED headlight crisis. (https://www.notus.org/congress/headlights-brighter-congress). Enter an email address to read the article.
The following members of Congress were called out by name:
Mike Thompson, California, DEMOCRAT
Mark Pocan, Wisconsin, DEMOCRAT
Celeste Malloy, Utah, REPUBLICAN
Doug LaMalfa, California, REPUBLICAN
Chris Murphy, Connecticut, DEMOCRAT
In the article, my representative Mike Thompson made it clear that he is waiting for both the Soft Lights Foundation and for Republicans to do something. Talk about inaction! On the positive side, some members of Congress are aware of our efforts.
Now is the time for our supporters to be persistent on this issue with members of Congress. If my representative Mike Thompson won't take the lead, we need somebody else in Congress to step into the leadership vacuum. Please continue to make direct contact with the office of your representative and send them this article in NOTUS.
Sincerely,
Mark Baker
President
