Yesterday I learned that our nemesis at NHTSA, Acting Director Ann Carlson, resigned in December, 2023.  https://www.automotivedive.com/news/acting-nhtsa-administrator-ann-carlson-stepping-down/702819/

The new Acting Director is Sophie Shulman (sophie.shulman@dot.gov).  I wrote to Ms. Shulman immediately and requested that she publicly acknowledge the harm caused by unapproved, unregulated LED headlights, but she did not respond.  I encourage all supporters to write directly to Ms. Shulman with a link to this petition and ask her to hold the automakers accountable for selling vehicles with dangerous, unapproved LED headlights.
