Dear Supporters,

The Soft Lights Foundation submitted a federal regulatory petition to NHTSA on December 25, 2023 which details the failure of the automakers to comply with 5 U.S.C. 551-559 and the failure of NHTSA to update FMVSS-108 with performance standards for LED headlights.  We requested that NHTSA issue an Order of Non-Compliance for the 2023 Jeep Grand Wagoneer which uses LED headlights.

We now wait for NHTSA to assign a docket number and a response.
