Dear Supporters,

On September 27, 2023, we submitted a Request for Interpretation to NHTSA to determine if the automakers are required to comply with the Administrative Procedure Act of 1946 and petition NHTSA for authorization to be able to use LED headlights.  We believe the obvious answer is "yes", however, no automaker has complied with this law.  Since LED headlights are dangerous, and since the FDA has not complied with 21 U.S.C. 360ii and published performance standards for LED headlights, and since the automakers have not complied with the Administrative Procedure Act, we therefore seek a formal ruling from NHTSA.  Here is a link to our letter:
