Dear Supporters,

On April 26, 2022, the US Department of Energy announced new rules aimed at eliminating the sale of incandescent light bulbs.  This is a major announcement of the worst kind.  Now have both the DOE and NHTSA are pushing toxic LED lights onto us.

The DOE falsely claims that LEDs are energy-efficient.  They do this by using only the lumens per watt and ignoring the quality aspect of the light.  The DOE is lying to the public.  I called my Senators and Congressman and the media today to express how livid I am that the government is forcing this low-quality, toxic LED light onto us with outright lies.

Of course, you can turn this into an opportunity by calling your two Senators and one Congressperson and speaking to a staff member in Washington, DC.  Tell them that energy-efficiency means the same quality, not lower quality, and you want Congress to investigate the Department of Energy's fraudulent claims that LEDs are energy efficient and you want Congress to investigate LED headlights.  You can tell them to contact Liam Vlaming in Senator Ron Wyden's office who is leading the investigation.
