We all know that blinding headlights and other distracting technologies such as Daytime Running Lights, overly bright Brake Lights, etc. are a burden and the likely culprit behind the sharp rise in auto-fatalities that started in 2015. However, the science is lacking. I have located the world's premier transportation research institute at the University of Michigan and I am asking you to write emails and letters detailing your own experience and asking that urgent research be done to address this problem. There are two professors, Dr.'s Sully and Flannagan, who are well-suited to the study of this issue. Please write to them personally and to the institute in general at the addresses provided below.
