It has been brought to my attention that The Florida House of Representatives Criminal Justice sub commitee are going to be voting on a new Bill called SB 7020.This Bill, if passed, without change, would take complete control of The Florida Department of Corrections away from our Governor!This Bill would also create a prison oversight committee with power to investiigate and crack down on prison abuse!Unfortunetly there are alot of members of The House of Representatioves that want to change it!My brother and I would like to ask each and everyone of you to familarize yourself with this bill and if you beleive like we do that it should be passed without removing this oversight committee please please contact our Florida House of Representatives and ask them to not change it! http://www.myfloridahouse.gov/Sections/Committees/committeesdetail.aspx?TermId=86&CommitteeId=2831 The link above is a link to our House of Representatives and the link below is a link to a news article about this very important Bill!
