Hi Everyone, I'm sorry to have to ask a huge favor again. I realize this petition is to have my brother transferred to a Federal Prison, but that is only because of my brother's battle to help a mentally ill inmate who was killed at the hands of guards at Dade C.I. These last few weeks there has been a lot going on with Senate Bill 7020 that the Senate Justice Committee created. SB 7020 basically got stripped of all that was good. Now that our Florida House of Representatives have their hands in the pot they have created House Bill 7131. HB 7131 will not offer the help needed for our mentally ill inmates in Florida prisons. I can't even began to tell you how important it is that our citizens get involved - nothing will change our prison system if citizens do not get politically active.
