After 365 days , only 755 signatures!

Hello, TRIO Community Thank all of you who hav signed the petition for student loan forgiveness for TRIO Programs professionals. Unfortunately 755 signatures is not enough to make an impact. With level funding, budget cuts, and other threats to TRIO salaries, student loan forgiveness would make many TRIO Programs professionals jobs easier by having one less debt to pay. Please share this with your colleagues and other networks and let's get those signatures up. With the upcoming grant competition, some of our colleagues could lose funding in the coming year -- which means they could experience job losses (I'm a realist folks, so I have to call it what it is). Loan forgiveness would definitely be a blessing to anyone who may lose funding as a result of the grant competition. Let's get 10,000 signatures in the next three weeks! We can do this.
