From 1789 to 1949 (160 years) the current Department of Defense was called the War Department.

The word "defense" does NOT accurately reflect the current disposition of the department and its' assigns at the global military industrial complex who depend its constant state of war for profits and control of global resources.

It's time to call the agency the more appropriate and accurate name "War Department" so that U.S. citizens are clear about its exact function in our society and can intelligently with clarity decide with open eyes on its funding and purpose in our new 21st century.
