This must be the slowest burn petition ever. Martin Lewis now seems to have partly joined the battle, which means big time clout coming to this issue.

I believe that the issue of financially poor people who are high users can be addressed. But removing standing charges and increasing the unit rate would be a huge step forward. Moreover many of the charges being levied on the consumer via standing charges are as a result of the incompetence of OFGEM.
