These stats are almost unfathomable. The number of individuals being killed is so high, it seems impossible. Sadly, though, it is reality. And the way these animals are treated before they are brutally slaughtered is devastating. Packed into filthy, overcrowded factory farms, their lives are all filled with immense suffering—every day of their lives.
