TODAY: Tweet at Tyson’s CEO that it’s time for Tyson Foods to become a true food leader by ending cruel rapid growth--and shifting to plant protein!
This afternoon, Tyson Foods CEO Tom Hayes takes the podium at the Barclays Global Consumer Staples Conference to tout the company’s leadership in the protein market. Yet, as more and more consumers are learning about the hidden horrors behind Tyson’s chicken, they’re flocking from cruelty--and Tyson is feeling the heat.
More than a quarter million of you have signed our petition urging Tyson to end crippling rapid growth and shift to compassionate plant protein in the aftermath of our investigation exposing egregious cruelty at a Tyson-contracted farm.
And in response, Tyson has upped its stake in massively popular plant protein maker Beyond Meat and announced its own line of plant-based bowls. Recognizing that plant-based food is taking the nation by storm, Tom Hayes even recently stated, “If you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em, right?”
Your voices are clearly ruffling feathers at Tyson. Now it’s time to raise them again by tweeting at Hayes TODAY during his presentation to let him know that if Tyson wants to be a true food leader, it needs to jump on board fully with plant protein--and end debilitating rapid growth in birds!
