Petition updateStop Animal Abuse at World’s Largest Chicken ProducerHistoric change for chickens but not from Tyson
Mercy For Animals
Jun 12, 2017
In the year since Mercy For Animals released the latest in a long series of undercover investigations exposing criminal animal abuse at Tyson Foods, dozens of major food companies—including Subway, Burger King, Chipotle, Panera Bread, Starbucks, Jack in the Box, Aramark, Compass Group, and Applegate—have publicly committed to chicken welfare policies that ban cruel practices Tyson still inflicts on billions of birds! Nearly 600,000 consumers have signed our petitions asking Tyson to stop torturing chickens, but Tyson has yet to implement the commonsense standards that would prevent unimaginable animal suffering. This is unacceptable and must change. Please call on Tyson to join dozens of other companies in pledging to meet the chicken welfare standards laid out by Global Animal Partnership and replace live-shackle slaughter with multi-step controlled-atmosphere processing systems that eliminate the horrific suffering caused by shackling, shocking, and slitting the throats of conscious animals. Share this petition and visit TysonTorturesAnimals.com to take action.
