What an amazing few days! I want to thank everyone for signing on to the campaign and helping spread the word about the truly horrifying consequences of this app. Yik Yak was recently given 62 million dollars by the same investor who backed WhatsApp, and estimates say that this company -- a company that not just allows or endorses, but relies on young teens using the service to bully, threaten, spread rumors, and even call on their classmates to kill themselves -- is now worth hundreds of millions of dollars. I think that is unacceptable. We want everyone to tell the people behind this app that what they do is not okay, and that they won’t get away with it.
