Palestinians are being targeted on social media by Zionist entities.

So-called organization such as Canary Mission and StopAntisemitism.org have targeted Palestinian activists by exposing their identities, places of work, photos, and confidential personal information under the guise of exposing antisemitism. Palestinians have become targets of vulgar memes, death threats, graphic images, no-fly lists, investigations, just to name a few. This targeted abuse and harassment has put our community members’ safety in jeopardy and has resulted in job loss, attacks on the right of return, and barriers in pursuing higher education. 

The purpose of accounts like @CanaryMission and @stopantisemites is not to expose anti-semitism. It is to demonize and silence Palestinians. It is erasure of our truth, history, and existence as an indigenous people.

Inaction towards stopping these attacks on Palestinians feeds into anti-Palestinian racism and is behavior complicit in our genocide.

We call on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Google, and all other platforms that apparently forgot to add “excludes anti-Palestinian racism” in fine print the under targeted harassment section of their community guidelines to SHUT DOWN accounts whose sole purpose is abuse and targeted harassment of Palestinians. 

Our right to exist as humans and resist as an oppressed people should not come at the expense of our safety, health, and false accusations of being anti-Semitic.
