10,000 Signatures! Thank You!

Dear everyone,

Just to say THANK YOU SO MUCH, for all your support and for signing the petition so far. We weren't so sure we'd hit this landmark figure but here we are.

We still have a ways to go though. While 10k is a very substantial figure, we'll require a figure that Twitter simply can't ignore. The coincidental airing of RTE's Prime Time programme on Thursday was an added bonus in that it allowed a mainstream audience to see the abhorrent xenophobia and racism that Gemma O'Doherty (@gemmaod1) has posted online. Now is an opportunity to capitalize on the timing of this programme and spread the word even further - to let people know that there are a group of us (10,000 strong) that have had enough of the fear mongering and misinformation.

If you are inclined, we'd be most grateful if you'd share a link to this petition (change.org/BanGemmaOD) to your social media platforms, in particular on Twitter. This petition had forced Gemma's name to 'trend' and in turn the attention is pointing towards this petition. We're working towards a substantive difference.
