Petition updateTVA Retirees Forced to Buy High-Priced Medicare PlansTVA's 2019 Medigap Plan G Rates 78% Higher for Female Retirees

Based on rates provided by a consultant that analyzes Medicare insurance,  TVA's 2019 Medigap Plan G rates for females purchasing  Mutual of Omaha are 78% higher than buying Plan G directly from Mutual of Omaha.  It appears that part of the price difference is due to TVA's use of "unisex'" rates.  However, even TVA's male retirees are hammered with 61% higher rates than buying directly from Mutual of Omaha.

TVA retirees and seniors all across the nation deserve to know why Plan G rates through PMEs are sometimes extraordinarily higher than purchasing directly from the insurer.  Why would the PME claim its rates are competitive?  Why would TVA allow its retirees to be misled?
