Turn fal&penryn campus web engine to Ecosia to help plant trees and reduce carbon emission

Turn fal&penryn campus web engine to Ecosia to help plant trees and reduce carbon emission
The Issue
Brought forward by the Green Committee, for students
Calling all University students studying at Falmouth University and Exeter uni in Cornwall to sign this important petition to allow our research to plant trees! Ecosia is a non profit organisation which donates 80% of their profits to charities around the world experiencing the negative effects of climate change. They use ad money from web searches to donate to planting tree campaigns! What better way to reduce carbon emissions then by turning our vital research for our degrees into trees!! The university’s offers a variety of sustainable focused courses and thus it is only right that students can continue to be sustainable when researching for their assignments. They also have its own solar energy plant, and its servers are proud to announce that they use 100% renewable energy. It claims to create double the amount of solar power than is needed to power all Ecosia searches. The non-profit organisation is B Corp Certified.
'Ecosia on campus' is a campaign launched to promote universities globally to change their web engine to Ecosia in order to plant thousands of trees. It is an engaging campaign which allows students to track their tree count by getting a link which allows individuals to see the trees planted by students at their university. Currently 30 universities have signed up to the campaign and this has resulted in 211,000 trees being planted and with the help of our University we can help plant more trees!
