Public Input Meeting on New Proposed Development

A new proposed development for the land located at 11805 State Bridge Road proposal calls for 3 single family homes to be built within 25 feet of existing properties of the Long Indian Creek subdivision. The builder is once again asking the city to change the current zoning designation from small business to residential.
The project will be discussed at a planning commission meeting on April 4 2024 @ 7:00 pm.
LOCATION
City Hall
11360 Lakefield Drive
Johns Creek, GA 30097
You can access all of the plan's documentation here: https://johnscreekga.gov/.../boards.../planning-commission/
If you can not attend the public input meeting next Thursday, April 4 at 7pm (city hall) and would like to submit comments on the proposal, you can send an email, or call:
Ruchi Agarwal
Planning & Zoning Manager

Whether for, or against, the proposal one point you can remind Mr. Agarwal and the city leadership is that they just spent thousands of dollars coming up with a city master plan which this proposal would seemingly go against. The land is currently zoned small business, and any development proposed would need to fit into the 'Ocee Community'.
As of 2022, the Ocee Community Area is home to 16,000 residents, accounting for 18.8% of the City’s population, as the second most populous Community Area in Johns Creek.
The National Park Land Standards recommends 5–10 acres be set aside for active recreation for areas of 1,000 residents and above.
