Yesterday, the Clinton campaign announced that they would be supporting the #Recount2016 efforts, despite untoward comments made by Dr. Stein on Twitter. We still believe that Dr. Stein, being a neutral 3rd party and a candidate, is uniquely positioned to request recounts, but want to reiterate that this is not an endorsement of Stein or her party. We are dismayed by her comments about Secretary Clinton (who do you think helped you raise $6.1M towards your $7M goal, Dr. Stein?) That being said, Dr. Stein HAS HEARD OUR CALL for adding states to this effort. In response, she has expressed she will do so in any state that the deadline has not pass and has asked for help identifying which states have not past deadline. We will continue gathering signatures and serve as a watchdog on Dr. Stein's effort and observe how involved the Clinton campaign becomes.
