Petition Delivery to #ReuniteEveryChild

This administration has FAILED to meet the first deadline to reunite children under the age of 5 and their excuses keep coming. Meanwhile, families still remain torn apart. We are outraged. Join MomsRising, Change.org, and Define American in DC to deliver over 120k signed petitions demanding that the administration: #ReuniteEveryChild now, in U.S. communities, not prisons! This is a peaceful offering of the petitions to a pre-appointed staff member at the Department of Health and Human Services. Please bring your families. Bring your kids. And bring a stuffed animal – new or used – to accompany the petitions in honor of the separated children. We will be donating stuffed animals to local charities if they are not accepted by HHS. Where: DC: Meet at C St. SW & 4th St (outside the McDonald’s), look for #ReuniteEveryChild signs When: July 19th at 1:30 pm What to bring: stuffed animal – new or used What’s the plan: We’ll walk to HHS together to deliver petitions and stuffed animals to officials at HHS Coverage: Define American will be broadcasting on Facebook live and photographing for social media; additionally national media outlets will be covering the delivery We want to show this administration that Americans care and we won’t stand for the inhumane treatment of immigrant families.
