Family business recieves $49K JobKeeper Back Payment

The Council of Small Business Organisations Australia (COSBOA) has stated they have had success helping a family run business receive $49k in JobKeeper back payments.

The family owned and operated business had previously been declared ineligible by the ATO due to a restructure at the start of the year.

The back payment of Jobkeeper by the ATO was a major lifeline for the family and came through just before Christmas.

The ATO has reportedly asked COSBOA to bring forward any other cases where businesses have been unfairly declined by the ATO for jobkeeper and cash flow boost payments.
