Treasurer Josh Frydenberg can't be bothered responding to Small Business Owners

Treasurer Josh Frydenberg has failed to respond to an official government petition signed by over 1000 Australians.

The official petition posted on the parliament website calls on Scott Morrison's Liberal-National coalition government to end red tape discrimination that is preventing genuine small businesses from accessing Cash Flow Boost and JobKeeper.

Frydenberg shirked responsibility again, kicking the mandated duty of responding to the petition down to minister for housing and assistant treasurer Michael Sukkar.

Sukkar noted that "most businesses do the right thing" but ultimately that the government had no intention of fixing their flawed legislation which has unnecessarily brought substantial hardship to genuine small business owners and their employees.

Sukkar continued to push the line that this discrimination is an 'integrity measure'. Certainly it has given small business owners and their employees an accurate measure to show the Morrison government's complete lack of integrity.
