Travis Meeks - Days of the New (Taylor Signature Guitar - Performance Support)

Travis Meeks - Days of the New (Taylor Signature Guitar - Performance Support)
The Issue
The 1990's was riddled with great guitar players, but no one was exploring the sonic territory that Travis Meeks of the platinum selling band "Days of the New" was. His beautifully melodic arpeggios, coupled with the distinct ring of a Taylor acoustic was a thing of beauty to behold. Truly one of the great talents of his time, picking up where Nick Drake left off and developing a unique style all his own.
The ultimate goal of this petition is to help shed some light on one of the greatest guitar players of his time, whose name was synonymous with Taylor. Travis inspired countless guitar players of all skill levels to seek out Taylor guitars for themselves. The purpose of this petition is to assist Travis in maybe someday seeking artist sponsorship/assistance with acquiring a couple instruments, or perhaps, on the wild end of the spectrum, a signature guitar.
Travis has struggled greatly due to a myriad of issues, and he's making great strides in reclaiming himself, and his identity, and hopefully, his music. His music set new creative mountain peaks for others to aspire to achieve. The lasting effect of his music is one that is profound, and it all started when a 14 year old teenager flawlessly performed the song "Freak" for producer and engineer Todd Smith who worked on the debut album "Orange", and on the sophomore effort, "Green"; in his own words, "never heard an acoustic guitar sound like this, complex, but melodic, sophisticated but primal, heavy but nuanced, running arpeggios with a precision that many musicians three times his age couldn't pull off. Not a single note was missed, not a syllable was out of tune, the execution was flawless."
Travis has many supporters that believe in him, and if the day comes that he returns to the spotlight, whatever stage he'll be on, you can be sure a Taylor will be in his hands; please sign and help us shake the dust off Travis’s name in the halls of Taylor Guitars!
Once this hits 500 signatures, I’ll be giving a signed poster (signed by Jeral Tidwell) of the Red Album to someone at random. Please share.
