Just to let you know that the various proposals presented by TFL last Friday for a pedestrian crossing at Battersea Bridge are already being analysed by traffic experts at RBKC.

I was in touch with the relevant parties there over the weekend and we are meeting as soon as possible this week to discuss and brainstorm the options.

There is already talk of the entire process taking many months. This is frustrating, but also understandable due to the design phase, public consultation, construction logistics and legal processes etc that have to be managed.

However, I am pushing hard to keep everything on a swift timetable. I hope for any ideas to be put up for public consultation as soon as possible. (RM: 1/2/20)
