Well done to those signing so far. I’ve heard from people who have been charged multiple incomplete journeys where it’s cost significantly more than daily cap. I’ve put in a freedom of information request to get some stats around the charges too and I’ll share once I get this back. 

One person who contacted me has been charged for an incomplete journey (pushing over cap) after having to visit a food bank. She was already nervous about going there which is why she thinks she forgot to touch out. She couldn’t afford this and ended up overdrawn - making her situation worse. I won’t share her name but she did give me permission to share what happened. This isn’t fare evasion - it’s an unreasonable punishment charge. 

Continue to share this and get as many people to sign as possible, we’ll push for this simple and fair policy change.
