We have an exciting update! 

Jillian and I just had a meeting with Deputy Mayor Eric Joyce and the head of Parks and Rec, and things are looking like they are going in a good direction! 

Eric and his team recently met with SDGE who said they need specific plans on the park. Those plans will be made, given to SDGE, then given to the CA Public Utility Commission (CPUC). If CPUC approves the plan, then it can be pushed forward. 

The city is hoping to lease the land from SDGE and will also be the ones to maintain it. 

Eric and his team have another meeting with SDGE in December, so we will know more then. 

We are keeping our fingers and toes crossed that SDGE & CPUC approve this project and that we will have a park in 2026! Eric and his team are working hard to make it happen.
