Article: Founder of Wellpath Recovery Solutions Found Guilty of Contract Bribery
Wellpath is caring for loved ones with serious mental illness at Bridgewater State Hospital. Wellpath filed bankruptcy in November 2024 and quickly changed their name to "Recovery Solutions". The same leadership is in place at Bridgewater State Hospital. The current hospital administrator and regional Senior V.P. are former Massachusetts Department of Corrections employees. We believe this to be a conflict of interest and shodl never be allowed.
In 2017, Governor Charlie Baker removed the Department of Corrections employees from working inside Bridgewater State Hospital because of poor culture, deaths, injuries, and poor leadership. Recently we discovered that the Massachusetts Department of Corrections is on the verge of renewing a five-year contract with Recovery Solutions valued at over $400 million dollars. This is very disturbing given Senators Elizabeth Warren and Edward Markey warned the Massachusetts Department of Corrections of extremely poor health care including 1400 lawsuits +-.
