Beş yıl boyunca Özel Açı Ortaokulunda  İngilizce öğretmenliği yapan Zoe Lila adlı trans kadın öğretmen, uzun süren nefret söylemleri ve ölüm tehditleri nedeniyle güvenlik tehlikesi nedeniyle evini terk etmek zorunda kalmıştır. Milli Eğitim Bakanlığının okul hakkında soruşturma açmasıyla beraber Zoe Lila öğretmenin sözleşmesi yenilenmemiştir ve işten çıkarılmıştır. Zoe öğretmen ve hakkı yenen tüm trans bireylerin yanındayız.

MEB yüzünden işine son verilen, tehdit edilen, kişisel bilgileri izinsiz yayılan öğretmenimiz için adalet istiyoruz! 

ENGLISH TRANSLATION:

Transgender teacher Zoe Lila has been teaching English classes in Açı Middle School for 5 years. After receiving many hateful comments and dangerous threats, she had no choice but to leave her home.  With the Turkish Ministry of Education starting an investigation in the school, Zoe’s contract with the school was not renewed, and she was removed from her teaching position.  We stand by Zoe Lila and all the other transgender individuals whose rights were taken away from them. 

We want justice for the teacher who received death threats, was removed from her job, and and private information was spread without her consent!
