We the undersigned all agree that the Essoldo ( the old Cinema) should be compulsory purchase. The Beautiful historic Essoldo building in Stretford Manchester has been left derelict for 21 years. It's slowing down our regeneration and is unkept and makes the town look untidy. It's a travesty That the owner can't do somthing with this amazing building. This building, if purchased buy Trafford Council could be used for greater good of the community and listed building legally needs to be looked after. This is what the law says, and we all agreed should be implemented. "Compulsory purchase orders (CPOs) allow public bodies to force owners to sell up if their property obstructs a regeneration project or it’s for the “greater public good”. "or it is a listed building that needs to be looked after.
