Traffic Study Update

Kaloko Dr. / Hawaiʻi Belt Road Intersection Improvement Update:

My office participated in a meeting with the State Department of Transportation as well as the County Planning and Public Works Departments. As a result, a Traffic Impact Analysis Report will be completed once normal school traffic resumes in the fall. All $647,880.45 of fair share contributions that have been collected since 1998 remain in the County account for intersection improvements. However, improvements would be carried out by the state pending the results of the TIAR.
