The Issue
Paul Allen passed away a few years ago, & his dying wish was for his sister to SELL THE PORTLAND TRAIL BLAZERS to a Local Owner who would ensure the team stays in Portland Oregon, & build a contender.
Phil Knight (Owner of Nike, & a local very successful businessman) has made MULTIPLE attempts to Jody Allen to Buy the Blazers, & make sure the Portland Trail Blazers remain in Portland. However, Jody Allen won't even meet with him or take his calls?! He's 85 years old. Jody Allen is dragging her feet like a Leach on her Brothers dying wish for his assets. Damian Lillard isn't getting any younger either, & Jody Allen is NOT OUR BEST OPTION TO BUILD A CONTENDER AROUND HIM. She might even be secretly trying to sandbag success, & move the team to Seattle(here residence).
Phil Knight would be our best option to build a NBA Contender in a small market, ensure the team stays in Portland, bring in big name free agents, spend the money we need to be successful, add new uniforms, sports venues, & even BRING THE NFL, MLB, & NHL to Portland & boost this struggling city's Economy.
Jody Allen would NEVER DO THAT. She also controls her brothers NFL Seattle Seahawks, which has always blocked the NFL from coming to Oregon. Phil Knight would change that as well.
JODY ALLEN IS DRAGGING THIS FRANCHISE & CITY DOWN. TELL HER WE DEMAND CHANGE & LOCAL OWNERSHIP NOW! Not 10 to 20 years like she falsly claims. Again, Phil Knight & Damian Lillard are not getting any younger. This needs to happen NOW.
