Currently, the Ford Expedition, Chevrolet Tahoe, GMC Yukon, Lincoln Navigator, Cadillac Escalade, Jeep Wagoneer, and Jeep Grand Wagoneer have long wheelbase length variants. I think Toyota needs to have a long wheelbase length variant for the Sequoia to compete with the Chevrolet Suburban, GMC Yukon XL, Ford Expedition MAX, and the Jeep Wagoneer L because it adds more options and choices for consumers and some people need to carry lots of passengers and cargo at the same time frequently and not everyone wants an American made vehicle, some people prefer a foreign brand.

Part of the reason why I’m doing this because the Sequoia’s pickup truck counterpart the Tundra and the all-new 2022+ Tundra offers a crew cab 6.5 ft bed configuration which applies to the all-new 2023 Sequoia having multiple wheelbase length variants. Not only a long wheelbase version will help with cargo space, it’s also great if you have 5 or more people with you when you going on longer road trips plus a long wheelbase length variant for the Toyota Sequoia or any full size SUV can help with passenger space and comfort. I know for a fact that Toyota’s vehicles are very reliable and I know that is a big need for people who like to keep their vehicles for a very long time and I also know that a lot of people who are in the market for an extended wheelbase full-size SUV would prioritize really good reliability so that’s one reason why Toyota should add an extended wheelbase version of the Sequoia.

Speaking of popularity, the Toyota Sequoia has grown immensely in popularity and it sold almost 4 times as much in 2023 compared to 2022 so that's why I personally think having a long wheelbase version for the Sequoia is a great choice because not only it increases satisfaction, it also gives consumers more variety of choices and amenities they want and that’s what I want to help on. Lastly, there’ll be more options for extended wheelbase full size SUVs so there’ll be more to choose from so people can get exactly what they want.
