The Woodlands Township does not have the ordinance of law authority to prevent developers from clear cutting our trees when they decide to build on the remaining raw land. 

If our residents vote to approve Incorporation the City of The Woodlands can issue a no Clear Cutting Ordinance to better protect our trees. The City can also enact a tree preservation ordinances better protecting our trees throughout The Woodlands.
