On March 8th, 2021, Your Local Community presented the petition to enact a new bylaw to help slow down the access to spray paint to the Township of Langley Mayor and Council. 10 out of 12 council members believed change was required and were open to continued conversations on solving this problem. Around half believed this bylaw would help and would be a great way to start finding new solutions to combat the growing problem. Thank you to everyone that took the time to support this awareness to bring attention to the growing vandalism in our communities. Graffiti devalues our common property and belongs as mural artwork on designated walls, not on Hydro boxes, garbage cans, bus benches, and common community property. Again thank you for the support, and together we can make our communities the best that they can be! Onwards we go! Together we can! Your Local Community
