Since the old Shakespeare theater burned down, there is an empty waterfront lot looking to be rebuilt. In order to keep to the theme of preserving the arts, it would be a perfect opportunity for the Town of Stratford to build a music venue in its place. There are so few local music venues in southwest Connecticut, and there is high demand for places for local bands to play. This could benefit the town by supporting local businesses and bringing people from out of town to see and experence this venue just like the old Shakespeare theater used to.
