Help us in the fight! We need your support to help save our quiet towns from this outlaw Dragstrip. Their is a proposed unsanctioned dragstrip to be built on 153 Freetown Road, Plattekill, NY. Their scheduled race days are Thursday through Sunday with race times of 8:00 am to 10:00 pm. This will cause increased traffic, deforestation, property value depreciation, excessive noise pollution in the surrounding residential neighborhood and pollution to federal wetlands. Not to mention the many other dragstrips across the Country that have been banned, and shutdown prior to this for the exact same reasons.  In this case they want to build this new unsanctioned drag strip right up to existing residential properties with young children. Unsanctioned means their are no rules or regulations!

The town of Plattekill is also attempting to pass a new local law that would change its zoning to ban motor vehicle racing in the town. See link below.  We need you help.

Show your support for the town of Plattekill. Especially those with young children right on the property lines that will give up more while trying to raise a family.
