Ocean Isle Beach is a magnificent stretch of beach in North Carolina where millions of families have created cherished memories and others have called home for decades. Mother Nature is trying her best to reclaim the East End of this paradise. The problem is, we have all fallen in love with this small spec of earth and we do not want to give it back.

The recent hurricane, Isaias, only hastened the erosion. The Town of Ocean Isle has a solution ready to go. The Army Corp of Engineers has approved the installation of a terminal groin. Unfortunately, it is being blocked by the Audubon Society. By signing this petition, you will be letting the Town of Ocean Isle Beach know that you support their efforts to save the East End and also letting the Audubon Society know that our nests (homes) matter too!

With each day that passes, we lose a little more sand, a little more road, a little more memories, and a little more hope.
