Thank-you to all of your who have signed and shared so far! We appreciate the time you took to do so! 

We have had a few responses from the Town since our launch:

• They have sent an employee to view the crosswalk site one morning and one afternoon after school for assessments.

• They have also laid down traffic recording lines across three place on Sawmill Valley Dr. We just hope our snow plows don't interfere with the data being collected!

This is a step in what appears to be in the right direction from the Town, but no changes have been promised or how long to expect changes if any are to take place.

We still need help to spread the word as the school does NOT have permission to email the full reach of all the parents at the school. It would be very nice to allow ALL the parents of the school be in the know, and to have the choice to sign. Due to Board Policy, we are unable to email the full parental reach of the school with our petition link.

We have done our best to hand out flyers, and now we have Newmarket Today.ca to aid us by sharing our hopes for change.
