After negotiation, Joe Muia and the Abbruzzeses have a handshake agreement to move the Helios project from Joe’s property to our 56.7-acre parcel, which is out of view to those on Dunnsville Road, Orchard Creek Golf Course and, most importantly, the Helderberg viewshed. We cannot thank you enough for the support and effort you have provided over the past few months – this outcome is the best possible, and is truly the result of a community effort!

For the time being, please keep those lawn signs up as we continue to advocate for responsible, respectful solar siting in our community. I would like to remind everyone of the Guilderland Planning Board meeting, Wednesday, 2/26/20 at 6:00 PM. At this meeting, the community is invited to share comments on the proposed changes to Chapter 280 of Town Code for Solar Energy Systems.
