Happy to report GOOD NEWS! It looks like the Town of Guilderland has heard your concerns. At the Town Board Meeting tonight they unveiled a new draft solar law: https://www.townofguilderland.org/…/local_law_solar_amendme…  which will require a visual impact assessment on major solar energy systems.

Supervisor Barber has asked for written comments by 2/7/20 because the draft law needs to be submitted to the Albany County Planning Board for review.

The public hearing is tentatively scheduled for March 3 at 7:00 p.m.

My understanding is that once this law is passed it will govern any solar projects that come before the zoning board including Dunnsville Road but I will keep you posted.
