A group of people that lives in the neighborhood of the race track are trying to shut it down.  Keeping the race track open is a benefit to the community, Boone and the surrounding areas.  It allows people to come together and give them a place to go to have fun.  It allows children to get involved and learn from the wonderful examples around them.  There are so many that enjoy being able to go out and watch a race with family and friends.  Taking that away only hurts them especially the children.
