TRC have delivered a detailed Information Request to DHA with respect to their proposed 50 lot development on the cleared land.

TRC appears to be dealing with DHA's new application as 'Code Assessable' giving residents no formal rights to objections or court review.

Whilst DHA have indicated an intention to transfer the balance of the 350ha forest land to the TRC, we have not been advised on any movement towards transfer as yet.

We have yet to receive feedback from DHA or TRC regarding our 25th Battalion Park Concept Plan for this escarpment area.

The Mayor has indicated plans for mountain biking infrastructure on Toowoomba' escarpment as part of council's wishlist to State Government for infrastructure plans as part of the COVID-19 reocvery.

TRC has announced 'Operation Cool Burn' - around 10 escarpment locations for winter burnoffs in conjunction with DFES. Obviously, these planned burns are weather permitting with the limited window for burns before spring.
