Berkeley Homes - Respect Chelsea Bridge Wharf Residents!

Berkeley Homes the err…’considerate constructor’ continues to create misery for residents on Sopwith Way. Berkeley Homes created ‘depots’ along Sopwith Way in May 2016, apparently to store materials for the Vista development.

There was no consultation or information to residents from Berkeley Homes or from the managing agents, Rendall & Rittner, who have failed to address resident concerns about this outrageous assault on their quality of life, placing the interests of Berkeley Homes above those of residents.  Despite complaints, Berkeley Homes continues to use these depots throughout the day causing massive noise nuisance to residents.

No planning application was made until after 6 months of use, when residents complained to the council, and it emerged that  Berkeley Homes did not have planning permission.  Residents have made many written objections to the planning application, which closed for comments on 13th October, 2016.

This is the latest incident in years of noise and disruption for Chelsea Bridge Wharf residents, and was almost simultaneous with Berkeley Homes granting HGV access to Sopwith Way to the Battersea Power Station Development Company, again without resident consultation.

Tony Pidgley, CEO of Berkeley Homes - please understand that enough is enough. The residents of Chelsea Bridge Wharf demand that you respect their right to enjoy peace and quiet in their own homes.

RESIDENTS - PLEASE SIGN AND SHARE - DEMAND YOUR RIGHT TO PEACE AND QUIET AND TO PRESERVE THE VALUE OF YOUR HOME
