Milwaukee district attorney John T. Chisholm’s office must be held accountable for his lenient bail policies, which are directly responsible for allowing the multiple felon Darrell Brooks Jr to go on his grotesque Christmas parade masssacre in Waukesha, WI leading to six deaths and over 40 injuries. Brooks was released on $1000 bail after arrest for punching and running over his child’s mother and committed his heinous act in Waukesha just days after his release.

I’m also asking for removal of Judge Cedric Cornwell, also directly responsible for Brooks’ release.

In an interview with the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel the year he was elected, Chisholm said: “Is there going to be an individual I divert, or I put into treatment program, who’s going to go out and kill somebody?”

“You bet. Guaranteed. It’s guaranteed to happen. It does not invalidate the overall approach.
